New Year's Eve

Happy new year's eve!

2011 has been one heck of a roller coaster ride. Starting off with trying to psych myself for the hectic sec 4 school schedule, to having to juggle school work and keeping myself sane at the same time. Spending weeks and weeks of studying in the airport, tampines mart(lol) & cathay.. To actually taking the O levels. Graduation, prom, soon we'll all be closing this chapter of our lives and moving on. Meeting new people, losing some, friends from school who I'll always remember & cherish. People really do come and go. Found the best & most amazing boy. (Jeremiah, you turned my 2011 around and I'm glad to have you suffocating me/squeezing my face all the time. I love you!) There we have my 2011 in a nutshell.

I have to say again, this year flew by. Still it feels like everything has changed within this short year. Maybe I've been too caught up in my own thoughts & life that I missed out some things going on around me. At some points I was completely lost and struggling with exams, friendships, relationships & kinship. The times I felt like I was losing everything and things were hanging on a thread. I still do think that I've lost some things/people in a way I wish I haven't. Well, hardly anything good ever stays.. I guess that's what growing older does to you. Learning to pick yourself up and going solo sometimes. I had my fair share of good and bad times, and I am content. After all, you might just gain something from losing another. I'm thankful for being blessed with an amazing family, true friends.. and an impossibly sexy boyfriend hehe.

So hello 2012(in another 24 hours anyway)! Results, a new school, new friends, new everything. Honestly I'm scared and apprehensive of what this new year will bring hahaha. Life doesn't always go the way you want it to, right? But then again..... What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I can't wait to see what 2012 holds for me & I sure am going to make the most of it. Here's to another round of first times, fun, laughter, taking chances, leaps of faith and making mistakes.
